2012 Study Abroad Scholarships

The recipients of Study Abroad Scholarships for study exchanges beginning in Semester 2, 2012 will be announced in February 2012.

Applications for 2013 Study Abroad Scholarships will be advertised during 2012 in two Rounds: for study exchanges commencing in Semester 1 or Semester 2, 2013. The Guidelines and Application Form for Round 1 Scholarships will be available in March 2012.  

The 2011 Walter Mangold Lecture was delivered by Professor Hsien-Hao Sebastian Liao on Thursday 27^th October at the Sidney Myer Asia Centre, The University of Melbourne, Parkville.

Professor Hsien-Hao Liao gave a lecture entitled,‘The Romance of the Three Kins: The Taiwan-Japan-Mainland China Triangular Relationship Seen Through the Japan Imaginary in Taiwanese Film.’

Professor Liao is Professor of English and Comparative Literature at the Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures at National Taiwan University, Taipei, Taiwan.
